In September 2018, my dad and I took a trip to Iceland, where I was completely overwhelmed by the beautiful and epic landscapes. Every location we visited was like another planet. Unfortunately, I only had my cell phone to take pictures, and even though I got some decent shots, I knew that I wanted something more.

 

So, on New Year’s Day 2019, I bought a mirrorless camera, a few lenses, and booked a flight back to Iceland. Before the trip, I took some photography classes, read books, watched tons of video tutorials, and tried to learn every button on my new camera. Obviously, I was completely aware that I was just an amateur, but the pure excitement of shooting The Northern Lights, waterfalls, and ice caves with a professional camera was like nothing I had ever experienced. I knew that I had just discovered a new life long passion. I honestly believe that a picture is worth a thousand words, or can actually leave you completely speechless.

Currently, I am working with some amazing companies across the globe including Kujali Retreats, Savana Photo Safaris, and GoFan Safaris, and GCK Travel. We offer fully customized itineraries to Africa, Brazil, Iceland and the USA.
